First Time Test Taker

You’ve started studying early, and you’ve got plenty of time. But knowing what to study and how is the challenge. We can help.

We recommend this approach:

  1. First, review our Study Guides and listen to our Audio Lectures.* You’ll learn the foundational elements of class, such as pathophysiology, assessment and resuscitation.
  2. Next, use our Interactive Test Prep to learn how to read and analyze NREMT-style questions.
  3. Test your knowledge with our Diagnostic Tests. Each one is based on a section of the NREMT. You’ll find out which topics you understand best, and which topics you need to study more.
  4. Check out the schedule for Dan’s Office Hours. These are live, interactive webinars where you can ask EMS textbook author, educator and paramedic Dan Limmer any questions you have.
  5. Go back and hit the Audio Lectures and Study Guides for the areas where you need additional study.
  6. Think you’re ready? Take our Simulated NREMT Tests and find out!
